The Village is a mentoring community that is specifically designed to help young men redefine their lives through exposure, education, engagement, & encouragement. The Village is made up of adult and youth mentors who have covenanted together to form an intergenerational mentoring community.
We divide our mentors into three (3) groups.
Advocate – Men who fill the Advocate role are seasoned (age 35 and up) and provide a “father-figure” for the young men within the community.
Coach – Men who fill the Coach role are younger (age 19 - 34) and provide a “big brother” for the young men within the community.
Alumni - Recent graduates of the program.
As a mentor community, we will continue to build on the principles and values that the students learned during the manhood training. If you are in the Anderson, Indiana area and would like to become a Village Mentor, please fill out the form on this page!
"Students from low-income families are 2.4 times more likely to drop out than middle-income kids, and over 10 times more likely than high-income peers."
